Westar’s marketing launch began Monday, January 25, 2010 and over 70 new affiliates were added out of the gate.

Since 2006, NRT has been producing a free weekly "New Music Update" radio program that stations and online broadcasts can air. Professionally produced by Bill Lurwick, these one and two minute programs give listeners a quick introduction to what's new each week in Christian music and feature song previews and exclusive artist interviews.  Lurwick is a radio industry veteran, having been in radio since 1989 and is currently heard on KJIL in Dodge City, KS,

Westar Media Group is a full service radio marketing agency representing popular nationally syndicated short features and long form programming like "20 The Countdown Magazine" hosted by Jon Rivers (690 stations); “Lamplighter Theatre,” a children’s weekly drama (540 stations) and “Home School Heartbeat” (910 stations) among many others. Westar is celebrating its 15th anniversary this month.

Extra Mile Merch Debuts Exclusive B.REITH Line
“Now Is Not Forever”



Extra Mile Merch, our full-service merchandise development and screen-printing company, recently designed and debuted the Now Is Not Forever line for rising pop artist B.Reith (Gotee).

The Now Is Not Forever line was designed exclusively for B.Reith and features themes from his latest project by the same name including Now Is Not Forever, Awe Struck and others.  B.Reith is in front of fans nightly as he performs across the nation as part of two major tours, including our currently underway 30-date Creation Festival Tour, followed by a run of 20 cities on the Winter Wonder Slam with tobyMac and Relient K. 

This is the second line Extra Mile Merch has designed for B.Reith. The artist found early success with Extra Mile, “Newly signed to Gotee, I was happy to be on tour with tobyMac, Relient K and Family Force 5, but didn’t expect to sell much merch when compared to my tour mates, but we sold out of our initial run of Extra Mile Merch’s designs and had to reorder.”
